# Start AI Cincy — business electricity assessment

> Same power. A better price. A free supply-rate comparison for eligible small and midsize businesses in Ohio.

Free electricity supply comparison and guided signup for eligible Ohio small and midsize businesses with Duke Energy Ohio business accounts. Upload a PDF or image, take a photo, or enter bill details. Review the extracted facts, then provide name, email, and phone before results.

We compare current Ohio Apples to Apples offers for the DS or DM rate schedule: fixed rates, 12–36 months, $0 monthly fee, and $0 early termination fee. All suppliers and renewable percentages are included. A $0 early termination fee does not mean there is no contract. If the assessment does not apply, the result says so. Matching or beating the filtered offers is reported honestly; no matches is not proof the current plan is cheapest.

Savings compare electricity supply costs for the same kWh usage, not the entire utility bill. A 12-month estimate uses actual annual history from the bill, 12 numeric monthly readings, or a customer-entered actual 12-month total. Without that history, only the billed usage is compared; one month is never multiplied by 12. Rates, usage, eligibility, and start dates can change. Start AI Cincy is an independent comparison service, not a utility or energy supplier, and does not promise a particular saving.

The customer chooses an offer, reviews the supplier’s terms, and submits signup themselves. Copyable contact details and an optional customer-confirmed electric Choice Service ID help with signup. That ID stays in the page’s browser memory; it is not saved to the lead, placed in supplier URLs, or included in general prompts or reminders. Switching may take several billing cycles. The customer’s utility still delivers electricity and handles outages.

The check and guided signup are free. Contact submission creates a Start AI Cincy lead so Mark may personally email or call about the business and custom tools. It does not subscribe the customer to automatic marketing emails. Optional email or calendar reminders are separate choices. A reusable Claude/Codex prompt helps with a future review, ideally one quarter before the confirmed contract end date. A download or calendar event does not itself schedule an automated AI comparison. Customers do not need to buy a custom tool or book a call to use the check.

This is a free tool from Start AI Cincy, which is actually local to Cincinnati. The custom-tool offer is “Tools guaranteed to pay for themselves, or they’re free.” This is separate from the electricity comparison. Contact Mark Phillips at mark@startaicincy.com.
