Terms & Conditions
Start AI Cincy’s free business electricity check. Updated October 24, 2026.
What you’re agreeing to.
When you check “I agree to the Terms & Conditions,” you confirm and allow the following:
- You’re authorized to use the account. This is an Ohio business electricity account, and you have permission to review the bill and share its details for this check.
- We can read the bill with AI. When you choose a file and click “Check my bill,” we send it to OpenAI to extract the electricity details. We don’t save the original file on our servers. OpenAI may retain API data under its applicable data policies. Hide ordinary billing account numbers, barcodes, tax IDs and payment details before submitting. You may leave the electric Choice Service ID visible if you want help copying it for signup. It is returned separately to your browser, not saved with the lead. You can enter all details yourself instead.
- We can keep your check and contact details. When you submit your business details, we save your name, business, email, phone, the bill facts you confirm, your result and any reminder you request. Your submission creates a lead for Start AI Cincy. Mark may email or call to learn more about your business, ask follow-up questions and discuss custom tools or services that could help, as well as provide your check. Records are kept in our private lead system and may appear in our private Google Workspace CRM. We save the contact record before retrieving your comparison.
- You’ll check the details. AI can misread a bill. Review the utility, rate schedule, usage, supplier price and fees before continuing. Use dates and fees from your actual agreement when setting a reminder or deciding to switch.
Here’s what the service does.
We compare current listed electricity supply offers on Ohio’s official Apples to Apples chart for Duke Energy Ohio DS and DM business accounts currently on Duke’s standard/default supply, with no separate supplier contract or cancellation fee. A Duke delivery bill alone does not qualify. Other suppliers, aggregation plans and unclear supply arrangements are outside this check. We look for fixed rates, 12–36 month terms, $0 monthly fees and $0 early termination fees. All suppliers and renewable percentages are included.
The check and signup walkthrough are free. You don’t have to buy anything from Start AI Cincy or book a call.
A comparison is an estimate.
Your result uses the usage and bill details you confirm. A 12-month estimate requires actual annual usage printed on the bill, a complete set of 12 numeric monthly readings, or your actual 12-month total. We compare that amount at today’s Duke supply rate and the new fixed rate for a full year after the switch. Duke’s rate and your usage may change. If history is missing, we show only a comparison for the billed usage; we don’t multiply one month by 12. It compares supply costs, not every charge on your electricity bill. Offers, eligibility and prices can change. The lowest match we find is not a promise that it’s the cheapest plan anywhere or that it will stay the cheapest. Unknown costs stay unknown; check your current cancellation terms and the new supplier’s full agreement.
You decide whether to switch.
We don’t enroll you, sign for you, cancel your contract or disconnect service. You review and submit the supplier’s agreement yourself. The supplier confirms eligibility, final pricing and the start date. A switch can take several billing cycles; the new rate applies when the switch takes effect. Your utility still delivers electricity and handles outages.
Your optional signup kit.
The copyable signup kit uses your contact details. You may review and confirm your 22-digit electric Choice Service ID for copying, too. That ID stays in this page’s browser memory and is lost when the page reloads. It is excluded from our saved lead, general comparison prompt, reminders and supplier URLs. If you download the signup helper, the file includes the displayed contact details and any ID you confirmed. Sharing that file with a browser assistant shares those details with the assistant you choose. The assistant must stop before accepting terms or submitting; you review and submit yourself.
Reminders are your choice.
If you enter the confirmed end date from your supplier agreement and request an email reminder, we save that request and send one reminder for this contract. Choosing calendar only does not request an email and cancels any pending email reminder for that check. A new confirmed date replaces the previous reminder. We do not automatically access future bills or change suppliers.
Downloading a prompt does not create an AI task. Claude or Codex needs the right tools and must confirm that scheduling succeeded. A calendar event is a reminder, not an automatic rate comparison.
Personal follow-up, without automatic marketing emails.
Submitting your contact details allows Mark at Start AI Cincy to contact you personally by email or phone about your business and potential custom tools or services. It does not add you to automatic marketing emails, automated marketing calls or texts. Any email rate-check reminder is a separate choice.
